Which format should I convert to?

Use JPG for photos where small file size matters more than sharp edges, PNG when you need transparency or crisp text/line art, and WebP when both size and quality matter and you know it will be viewed in a modern browser. SVG only makes sense for logos and icons — converting a photo to SVG just embeds it, it doesn’t vectorize it. PDF is for combining several images into one document.
